Here is an update on what we are doing during this crisis:
When You Schedule an Appointment with Us & Before We Arrive:
We are monitoring all team members for any relevant symptoms and are acting accordingly. Any team members that have a fever, show signs of illness, or have been known to be exposed and not protected will be asked to stay at home.
When We Arrive:
Our technicians are supplied with hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, masks, gloves, and as always, shoe covers. These items are in high demand right now and can be difficult to obtain in bulk, but we are doing our best to keep these items in stock. Other Measures we are implementing for our technicians are limiting time in groups, as we have cancelled all staff meetings until further notice. Technicians already work in isolation for most of the day and are rarely exposed to large groups. We will be limiting face to face interaction between our office team members and field technicians. We greatly appreciate your patience with our team during this time, as it allows us to provide the best service possible to those in need of our services. We need your support in order to provide the services needed while keeping safety at the forefront.
While in Your Home:
We are still scheduling and running service and maintenance calls during this time. We have asked our technicians not to shake hands and to keep a safe distance from our customers. We don’t mean to be unfriendly, but we feel it is in everyone’s best interest to take reasonable precautions during this health emergency. In a lot of cases we can troubleshoot equipment from your basements or kitchens with minimal face to face contact. If you are already on the schedule for maintenance, we plan to provide service, however you are welcome to reschedule. As mentioned above, we can often work on equipment with minimal contact. Filters inside the home will need to be changed and we intend to do so with your permission. System maintenance is still very important and does not need to be put off for too long or ignored all together. Obtaining signatures for work is our normal process is for repair work to be approved, if you do not feel comfortable with this, we can forego getting your signature at this time. Also, if you want to avoid hand to hand transactions while paying, you can read off your debit or credit card information to the technician at this time. If you do not wish to provide this information to a technician, you may call our office to submit your payment.
Indoor Air Quality Basics:
COVID-19 is spread through airborne particles as well as other means. As experts in indoor air quality, we recommend a few things:
